How to choose a Truepower inverter
First choose how you want to store power, then pick the size that covers the load you need to run.
- Battery built in: Lithvon Home ESS (1000VA or 1250VA) and Lithvon Pro Home ESS (2000VA to 3000VA, for heavier loads and longer power cuts). The lithium (LiFePO4) battery sits inside a wall-mounted unit, needs no maintenance and has a 5-year inverter and battery warranty.
- Solar: the Kivo Hybrid Solar Inverter (3.6 kW to 12 kW) runs on solar panels, the grid and a battery together.
- Separate battery: DSP and KRITO sine wave inverters and the SIGNATURE square wave inverter work with a battery you buy separately.
To size it, add up the watts of everything you want to run in a power cut. The inverter's rating must cover that load. How long it runs depends on the battery's stored energy and the load.
